When stress and unhealthy patterns start taking over – let’s bring clarity and balance back.

Systemic counseling in The Hague for individuals, parents, and families

You may feel exhausted, stuck, emotionally overwhelmed, or caught in patterns like emotional eating, anxiety, or constant tension at home.

Sometimes these struggles seem manageable – until they quietly grow into burnout, depression, or relationship conflicts.

At Mindfuel Counseling, I combine psychology, nutrition, and systemic tools to uncover the hidden mechanisms behind stress and unhealthy coping patterns. Together, we build practical, sustainable routines around sleep, nutrition, emotional regulation, and relationships – so you can feel more resilient, balanced, and in control again.

How I work

Systemic Approach

In my work, I look beyond symptoms and explore the patterns that shape your life.

Often, stress, emotional overwhelm, or recurring conflicts are not random — they are connected to earlier experiences, family dynamics, and unconscious roles we have learned to take on. Through biographical reflection, we trace recurring themes in your life story to better understand where certain beliefs, coping styles, or inner tensions began.

In systemic constellation work, we make hidden relationship dynamics visible. By mapping out family roles or unresolved loyalties, many clients experience surprising clarity and emotional relief.

Instead of asking “What’s wrong with me?”, we begin to understand “How did this pattern develop — and how can it shift?”

Connect Food and Mind

Eating patterns are rarely just about food.

They are often connected to stress, family dynamics, emotional regulation, and the roles we have learned to take on over time. What looks like emotional eating, loss of appetite, or constant cravings is often a signal — not the core problem.

In our work together, we explore how your nervous system, daily routines, relationships, and life history influence your relationship with food. Instead of focusing on strict rules or control, we identify the underlying patterns and create sustainable structures that support both emotional and physical stability.

Nutrition becomes part of a bigger picture — one that includes sleep, stress, attachment, and self-regulation — so that change feels grounded and realistic, not forced.

Practical Tools

At Mindfuel, I combine evidence-based psychological approaches with systemic methods to uncover the deeper patterns behind stress, emotional overwhelm, and unhealthy coping strategies.

Insight alone, however, is rarely enough. That’s why I support you in translating understanding into concrete, everyday action. Beyond identifying and reframing negative coping mechanisms, I integrate structured tools that strengthen self-awareness and emotional regulation.

These include resource activation, guided reflection exercises, reframing techniques, and mindfulness-based practices. .

Step by step, these small interventions reshape long-standing patterns. The goal is not quick symptom relief, but lasting clarity, stronger emotional stability, and a healthier relationship with yourself and the people around you.
